Walking Against Suicide - Lost Hours Walk

As we announced yesterday afternoon, on Sunday the 25th of October, we will be walking against suicide.

In a campaign against suicide, our partners at CALM are running their annual Lost Hours Walk.

What is the Lost Hours Walk?

Last year, CALM ran the Lost Hours Walk in London whereby when the clocks went back, the walk began in the face of suicide. This year, they are allowing anyone and everyone to walk against suicide wherever they are.

So together, with CALM, we are coming together to deal with grief 'differently and defiantly, and to remember our sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, partners and friends.'

125 people take their own lives every week in the UK. We're walking to elaborate that, that is simply not okay.

It’s time to Walk Against Suicide.

How can you get involved?

You can join our team and/or donate by clicking here

We would love to gather a large group of us to unite as one in this walk against suicide. Any support is so welcome, and we thank you very much in advance.

When and where are we walking?

We will be walking on Sunday the 25th of October, with a set meeting time of 1pm.

We are also delighted to say we have teamed up with Bradninch Cricket Club to ensure we offer a welcoming venue to both start and finish the walk.

We have worked hard to ensure the route we take is both comfortable and safe for all participants. With that in mind, we will be walking towards Killerton and then back around to finish back in Bradninch; the total length of the walk is just over six and a half miles.

Refreshments will be available both before and after the walk.

Once again, we'd like to say a massive thank you in advance to anyone who supports us, whether that be a donation, walking with us or even a simple good luck message.
